Online dog training for neurodivergent people with Big Feelings Dogs
Fun and accessible positive reinforcement dog training for neurodivergent people and their fearful, anxious, and reactive dogs.
You want your dog to feel safe and confident but…
Sometimes training just feels overwhelming, overstimulating, or like a chore.
No one else seems to understand that no matter how much you “want to train," it's often hard for your brain to put thoughts into action.
They don't understand the different barriers you might face when training with your dog - like sensory sensitivities or executive functioning differences.
Oh, but we do. We really, really get it.
“I am always impressed by how much Emily and Logan work to learn more, solicit feedback, and make evidence-based recommendations. They care so deeply about providing solid, effective training that is based in best practices.”
- Ran Courant-Morgan M.S., Behavior Analysis
At Confident Mutts, we know that training a dog as an anxious and neurodivergent guardian isn’t just about teaching behaviors or attending classes.
It’s also about navigating the whirlwind of big feelings, sensory overload, and the endless to-do lists that our busy brains just can’t keep up with. But listen…
You’re not the problem—the approach is.
You deserve dog training strategies that work with your neurodivergent needs, not against them.
We’re Logan and Emily!
We’re neurodivergent dog trainers who specialize in working with reactive, anxious, and fearful dogs.
We know all too well how stressful life with a big feelings dog can be - especially when their big emotions overlap with our own.
Our mission is to help neurodivergent dog guardians build harmonious lives with their dogs. We want to teach you everything you need to know so that you can avoid the mistakes we made with our own dogs.
Emily and Logan helped me advocate for my dog when he was in pain when I was struggling to.
“They saw through my dog's behavioural issues and didn't see a bad dog, or a human who was bad at training, but a dog in pain. They helped me ask for the referral that got him a hopefully life changing surgery, and I couldn't be more grateful.”
