Take your dog’s care tasks from being full of stress to confident and consensual!
In this 5-week group class we’ll coach you through the process of teaching cooperative care tasks like baths, nail trims, paw wipes, dremeling, ear cleaning, etc. in a way that is low stress and works for your brain!
This class is for you if…
Your dog HATES having their nails trimmed!
Your dog is running away, growling, or crying when you try to touch their paws, trim a nail, clean their ears, or brush their teeth.
You need to do care tasks with your dog, but you wish it weren't so frustrating or anxiety-inducing for everyone involved.
You’ve tried the whole cooperative care training thing but don’t know how to go from point A to Z.
You can’t seem to stick to a routine with your dog’s cooperative care training.
Your dog’s groomer has called you to pick them up because they were unable to groom them due to your dog’s fear, stress, and anxiety around being groomed.

FAQs
-
Absolutely not! This class is accessible to cooperative care newbies, as well as those with some experience already.
-
Working students can expect to do real life training on Zoom during class. You'll practice with your dog for 2-3 minutes, with one of the instructors giving guidance as you train. Then you'll take a brain break while another team works! Then we'll rinse and repeat for the rest of class. If you're camera shy, you can sign up for an "auditor" spot to observe the other teams.
-
Why not!? Is brushing, teeth care, ear cleaning, or eye drops more of a priority? Let us know and we’ll accomodate for you!
-
That’s why we have our auditor spot! You can join class, learn, observe, and body double without the social pressure. Also - if you want to go out of your comfort zone and give live training a try we keep our class fun, supportive, and judgement free!
